Football Development & Enrichment Programme

Are you aged between 16 and 19? Want to further your education? Want to continue with your football dream? Then this is the course for you! Our programme has been running for over 6 years and is under new management for 2007/8. We intend to build on our tremendous success in previous years to develop our players so that they can move on to higher levels of football.
Entry requirements
We are looking for talented young players but are committed to giving everyone of all abilities the opportunity to enhance their football skills. All players must attend trials organised by the College.
When are the trials?
Wednesday 13 February 2008 12noon - 2pm (Half-term week)
wednesday 28 May 2008 12noon - 2pm (Half-term week)
Wednesday 25 June 2008 4pm - 6pm

Once enrolled on the course you will study on our BTEC programme from Level 1 through to Level 3. The Academic Studies link has more information.
How long are the courses?
The courses range from 1 to 2 years or possibly longer should you choose to continue your education with one of our Foundation degrees.
Where is it? How can I get there?
The Kingsland Campus link has a map and directions. There are frequent buses that run from Luton, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Flitwick, Ampthill and Leighton Buzzard. Our Kingsland Skills Institute sports campus in Houghton Regis has recently had a major £3million upgrade to high standards and we are planning further developments, including a 3g playing pitch for this programme and purpose-built changing facilities and classrooms next to the playing fields.
